HOW TO PLAN YOUR WEEK PRODUCTIVELY
Planning our week productively is the most important thing for Personal Development as it allows us to get targeted results in a short period of time, thus allowing us to make time for other things in our life.
Staying fit with health, mind, and body or running a full-time business or doing a 9-5. Each phase requires proper time skills if we want to make time for ourselves.
I used to be the one who used to work all day, which gradually stressed me out and gave me poor mental health.
‘Me time’ the most underrated term that is essential for living.
How to get the time when you do not plan your week productively?
Some tips which you can apply in daily life.
1. INSPECT YOUR LAST WEEK
Have you ever tried making a to-do list for yourself?
Take a dairy and write down the things which you intended to do the last week.
Tick the ones you accomplished and check how many you missed.
These to-do lists are an essential part of being effective.
When you know what you have to do then it becomes easier to accomplish them.
Last week’s inspection gives us a picture of how we are failing at the things which we intend to do.
2. PRIORITIZE YOUR WORK
With our last week’s inspection, the next comes our prioritization of work.
Weekly to-dos I feel are better than daily to-do’s as they give you a short picture of your important work in this week.
You can break down your weekly to-dos to daily to-dos according to your needs.
Daily to-dos will help you to complete your task hurriedly while a weekly priority set prior to the starting of the week will make you more focused on the goals to achieve.
You will never be lost in your directions anymore.
It is always better to schedule your priorities ahead than to feel stressed out at the end feeling that you did not do this or could not complete that.
3. DO NOT OPEN SOCIAL MEDIA’S EARLY MORNING
May sound lame, but it helps.
Opening our eyes and checking FB. No, not a good idea.
Ya, nowadays many of our careers are social media dependants like Instagram or Facebook.
But still, it is advisable not to check it in the first 1.5 hours after you wake up.
Instead, make a morning routine.
Like, get up.
Make yourself a coffee, do some exercises or read a book.
Whatever it is, keep your mind calm and clean.
4. PLAN YOUR BREAKFAST AND LUNCH
Our daily meals also take up a lot of our time.
If it is not very boring for you, then eat the same breakfast for a week.
For week 2 change it to a different one.
I generally prefer having oats for breakfast.
So it saves me a lot of time by not deciding what to make in the morning.
You do not need to decide on a different each day.
Only with little variations, you can go for the week.
The same goes for your daily lunch boxes too.
Meal prep your lunch boxes and it is better if you can go for a similar kinda lunch the whole week.
Sounds boring? Yeah. But Efficient time saver.
5. KEEP ASIDE WHAT TO WEAR THIS WEEK
This is a real time-saving thing when it comes to what should I wear today.
Every morning we do not have anything to wear :D.
Well, it is a normal situation and everybody pass-through this stress.
We rush to work every morning and wasting time is just not an option.
So why not just decide what to wear for this week, not wasting time anymore each day.
It will make your week SUPER PRODUCTIVE by saving a LOT of time. Just set it as of Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and so on.
This simple act of planning your outfits in advance will make your life more EASY and QUICK.
