Do we actually lose weight by eating fruits and vegetables?
No. But they are definitely better than the other snacks while we are trying to lose weight.

Well, I am no nutritionist, but have gone with the process of losing 16 kilos in the last 2 years.
So just sharing my knowledge with you and the foods and diets that have helped me in the process.
BEST FOODS FOR WEIGHT LOSS
1. OATS | QUINOA

Well, Oats are one of my favorite options when it comes to losing weight.
Not only it is a healthy grain but oats are filled with lots of fibers, vitamins, antioxidants, and minerals.
Apart from weight loss, oats have other health benefits too like lower blood sugar levels and reducing the risk of heart disease.
If you are bored of eating oats daily then have quinoa alternatively.
Similar to oats will help in weight loss.
Yogurt is a calcium-rich food and calcium tends to lower abdominal fats.
Though any milk products for losing weight is a controversial statement for me, as I personally have never been benefited.
But the study says that daily include of yogurt in the diet will help increase fat burn and also been proven by many.
Sprouts no doubly help in losing weight.
Highly nutritious, with very little calories.
High fiber to keep you full for long.
You can have it as a light dinner.
4. CHICKEN | FISH
Chicken or fish, both contain a high amount of protein.
Fishes contain a high amount of amino acids and lean fishes are too good for a weight loss.
If you are avoiding any carbs in your diet then you should take up a diet containing a good amount of protein and fat.
For any keto diet or low carb diets, chicken or fish provides balanced nutrients.
5. GREEN TEA
Green tea boosts metabolism which in turn helps burn body fat quickly.
Green tea has a lot of health benefits.
You can have green tea twice a day to have proper weight loss results.
My personal experience says, have green tea in place of snacks.
Do not sit with green tea with a plate of snacks which may contain higher calories than we intend to take.
6. NUTS AND SEEDS
I personally have almonds and flax seeds regularly.
Almond keeps me full and restricts me from taking up other high-calorie snacks.
On the other hand, flax seeds contain high fiber which helps me lose weight.
So almonds, hazelnuts, pumpkin seeds, sunflower seeds, flax seeds, chia seeds, you can have anyone in your diet and lose weight.
Just keep in mind to take nuts in moderation in order to lose weight.
7. FRUITS INFUSED WATER
Water is really helpful in weight loss.
If you do not like normal water every time then you can start having fruit infused water.

Infused water helps you to keep your stomach fill so in turn, we snack less.

The best time to intake coconut oil is 20 minutes before your meals.
And you know why it is the best time.
The strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, or cranberries. Any berries are good for health.
Just like snacks and in place of snacks you have always munch a handful of berries.
